Kimchi, is the main star to any Korean meal. You can never have a Korean meal and not have kimichi, regardless of the type (cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, water kimchi.. the list is endless)
I have always imagined, given it plays such an important role in the meal, that it would have a diva like personality. It would be quite annoyed if it was treated like anything less than royalty!
This litle diva kimchi image came to me whilst I was researching how to make kimchi and I found it was written in a book “Kimchi, is withouth a doubt, the star of Korean food.” I imagined it being in a star dressing room, surrounded by key ingredients, such as gochukaru (chilli flakes) and gochujang (chilli paste) and some utensils.
