This comic is a slightly exaggerated version of something that really happened on one of my trips to Korea.

I was staying with a friend in Seoul for about ten days, and one morning we were walking back after dropping her son off. I was very confident that I knew where we were going and that I could easily find my way back.

In many parts of Seoul, it can be surprisingly easy to lose your bearings because so many apartment blocks look very similar. The buildings are often numbered, but when you are walking through a large residential complex, one block can start to look a lot like another.
