The Korean Cultural Centre UK is holding a Korean food competition for anyone who is interested in Korean

foods and enjoys cooking. The event details are below:

•Application Window: 22nd May 2014 – 19th June 2014

•Required documents: Application Form

•Regional Round: Cooking Competition

•Available Seats: 10

•Menu : One main dish inspired by Korean Street Foods based on Korean sauces (soy sauce, bean paste, hot pepper paste), for example BBQ burger

※ All ingredients for cooking will be served freely.

•Date: 5th July 2014, 10:00- 13:00

•Venue: Central Street Cookery School,St Luke’s Community Centre, 90 Central Street | London EC1V 8AJ

• Criteria to participate: Any non-Korean over 18, not of Korean descent

•Judging Criteria: Taste 40, Creativity 30, Practicality 20 and Interview 10

•Awards

– 1st Prize: Invitation to Korea to participate in the final round of the competition

(Winner of the Final Round will receive $10,000)

– 2nd Prize: KOOCOO Korean Rice Cooker

– 3rd Prize: Gift Card for a Korean Restaurant

– 4th Prize: Gift Card for a Korean Restaurant

– 5~10th Prize: Ingredients for Korean Cooking
