Savouring Korea, the taste of home at the Corbet Place Bar and Lounge

This weekend (25th April ~27th April) saw me grabbing a bite of a Korean burrito at the Corbet Place bar & lounge in London. It was a special 3 day event run by Joo Lee founder of Korrito, a Korean BBQ food stall. And I am back

It has a few years since I have posted/published/blogged about South Korea on here. I have been back and forth to this country since I first visited in 2007 and so much has changed. Its June 2013, in Busan and this is my fifth visit to Korea. I am off again!

Yes I have booked my ticket and am going to Korea for two months! I am so excited and the day is drawing ever closer. However so is my fear of packing. I have always packed for a minimum of 1 month max. However I am not sure about two months. The land of morning calm

Rabindranath Tagore, 1861 – 1941 poet, playwright, philosopher, composer, artist I was overjoyed to find a poem about Korea written by India’s most beloved poet; Rabindranath Tagore. He began writing poetry at the age of eight and published his first collection at the tender age of 16 under a pseudonym. Its my understanding that this poem came about on one of his many trips to Japan. He met a few Koreans there and promised to visit.
