Acclaimed writer Hwang Sok-yong and Adam Foulds in conversation with Boyd Tonkin at Free Word in Farringdon, earlier this evening 7th April, 2014, (7:00~9:00pm). Both discussing topics that occur in their respective books. Sok-yongs book The Shadow of Arms, (translated) just arrived today, fresh from the States, I purchased a copy and asked him to sign, I have not yet had the honour of reading this translated works and this will be my first. Reliving the Korean Film Festival 2013
I was invited by the Korean Cultural Centre to watch Boomerang Family starring Je-Moon Yoon. I took my friend and we were invited backstage to to the after party, where it was the closing of the Korean Film Festival. Canapes and drinks were served. Yeo-Jong Yoon was also there as well the director Hae Sung Song. My friend fell in love with Je-Moon and I plucked up the courage to request a picture with him. Above was the result.
